Torpedo DPV- any good for club diving?
Torpedo 3500 DPV

Anyone any experience of these? Not to be used for deep dark scary diving but we might have a pop at a pair through the disability access scheme at the Uni.

I've used one a couple of times and it's pretty awkward to use.

The magnetic switch can be a bit of a pain as well at times.

The best entry level scooter is the Dacor/Apollo down to Kg of thrust with gear on you need at least 20Kg.

The best (if you can get one is the) Zepp ,mind you a bit big for a club try dive :-)

Honest answer? They're absolutely pants! Do yourself a favour and buy a second hand Apollo... they're much, much better!
