TGFT. I thought for one awful moment it was going to be an LDS who's name I will not mention.

Not heard of that one, from the number, they are up in Launceston. I'm off up that way in a couple of weeks, so I'll give him a call tomorrow. Thanks for that Clare.

Cool dsmb video too, I've watched it a couple of times now.

I got someone to buy me a couple of no-lock connectors from Halcyon in Florida, because I was having great problems getting hold of them in this country. That aside, it was fairly simple. I used a AquaTec "JR Tec Diver" DSMB and modified it for suit/oral inflation or for conventional DV inflation.
Hi Iain, thanks for the post. Any ideas on cost? The small frog bags cost abtou £20 from divingniknaks, so anywhere near that price and I may as well get that. Would be useful to fit to the backup one though

Cheers, Lloyd.

Here's another tip I've heard:

Get one of those old AP valves silver swivel inflator thingies off an ABLJ/suit. The outlet is the perfect size to jubilee clip on a short length of hosepipe. Clip the fangle-wangle you have just made onto a BCD hose and stuff the length of hose up the DSMB and press the button. Lots of air in the DSMB via the hose and no reg to try and get in/out. Let go and the DSMB slides off the short length of hose.

Hiya Lloyd,
I bought an Aquion DSMB from Remar. It already has a nozzle on it so that you can inflate using the bc hose or dry-suit hose.

This will give you the same setup as iainmsmith has shown in his post without the hassle of the DIY

I think it cost about £20 - £25.

I've decided I'm going to clip a bit of hose pipe in the bottom and blow it up, see how that goes. If not I'll get myself a sexy frog number and keep the standard one as a backup backup

I found the Frog oral inflate ones were not as easy as the Halcyon ones. I had a couple of Frogs and have ditched them for the H ones.
