If you can get hold of marine grade springs and shackles you could probably make your own. I tried the Beaver ones last year on my 'holiday' Mares Volos and I couldn't get them to fit - took em back to the shop. The springs seemed awfully inflexible too, unlike my loverlee Woz Straps.

| If you are anywhere near Nottingham then nip into Kato Entex and pick up a spring from the trade counter- if you are just after one for a bit of a home project they'll normally let you have it for nowt. It's a 2618 in stainless you want. Then pop into my place and pick up some tubing to go over it (I've got a whole roll of clear left) and a bit o' string. Last thing you'll need are 4 off 5mm bow shackles in stainless from a chandlers. Alternatively bungee works just as well and is pennies. Stick with the tube, though, over the top.

| Was looking at getting some of the ND straps. Do you know if they fit any fins? I have the Oceanic V12 split fins. |
| ||||
| Can you put up a piccy of the side fitting ? G . |
| ||||
| They only fit the ones with the "mushroom" on each side of the fin. Mares ones have 2 little lugs under the mushroom head that need trimming with a Stanley knife. ![]() ![]()
