Surgical Tubing Supplier?!?!?
Does anyone know where i can lay my hands on some surgical tubing?

I've tried my local pharmacist and they looked at me like I was stupid!!

You an also get thin plastic tubing in syphon kits - I got one from Asda dirt cheap.

You can also by Jaffa Cakes in my local Tesco, these are nothing like surgical tubing either

Well, the plastic tubing I bought in my syphon kit is no different to the tubing they use in drips and other medical devices in hospitals so I suppose there's a wide definition of 'surgical' isn't there ?

...and I used the tubing to modify some dive gear. Who rattled your cage?

I'm guessing the OP wants the rubbery, stretchy stuff that you can use for necklacing your reg. My LDS sells it by the metre from a big reel. It's the same stuff that Jeremy Irons used to tie-up the lovely Genevieve Bujold in Cronenberg's Deadringers.

I managed to cadge some from the British Gas technician that came to service my boiler.

I'd sooner use bungy cord for diving purposes though.

It's not for a reg necklace, I've got one of these:



The bit of tubing holding the pencil to the magnetic pen type thing has gone all mankey and needs replacing. I've got some tubing that'd be good if it was slightly smaller so ideally i'd like to see some before buying!
