Anyway. I've just bought some Mares Quattros and they are noticably floatier than my ND jetfins. Perfect for wetsuit diving but I might have a go with them this weekend in the ol' drysuit and see what happens.

On balance I prefer jetfins, unless I'm really legging it against a current when I regret not having the Quattros. Janos [1] - Past particple of dive don't y'know.

| Let him cry - I always thought that crown of thorns was an entanglement hazard anyway. Have we not reached an agreement on the past tense of diving yet? YD's bloody useless for getting anyone to agree on anything. What about "derv"?

| The real answer to this ankle weights thing is to bin the drysuit and be a real diver and use a semi dry. I know, I know, I'll save you all the trouble. BURN THE HERETIC!!!!!!!!!!!! Yours soggily, David.

| I had a problem with too much air in the legs of my dry suit on the first couple of dives but found if you spend a little time on the surface getting all the creases and air out of your legs you have less problems when diving another tips a thick pair or two of socks. |
