Tear drop dSMB

I have wanted a tear drop/pear drop shaped crack bottle dSMB for a while now and, having found they are indeed still made, set about getting one

Thing is, I need to buy the "deco boy" with fittings from ADP and a 0.2l cylinder (with din fitting) elsewhere but AP Valves don't make these anymore and couldn't really direct me to anyone who does (they mentioned Sea&Sea and Apeks, neither of which do cylinders )

So, Dave at ADP, who is a top bloke, is sorting the deco boy for me, despite them moving and the website being temporarily suspended, but I'm stuck not being able to source the crack bottle.

Can anybody advise or sell me a 0.2l, preferably steel, cylinder ?
I might try calling Luxfor if I can but I'd prefer steel if at all possible

Thanks YD

I have a 0.4 ally knocking about. In fact I might have a 0.4 steel too.

Magic

John is seeing what he can do, it's a bit complicated with the dSMB coming with an A-clamp fitting but he's kindly said he will talk to Dave at ADP direct for me.

Divers are so great
Thanks Graham and thank you too Woz. I'm not sure if a 0.4l would blast it to the stars but better too much than not enough (assuming it has an over inflation valve) and if this doesn't come off I shall be PMing you re the 0.4l one

Thanks again

Interesting and a good thought but if I can get it without doing that (given the confusing A-clamp issue and that I already have about 40 items I need to put on ebay ) I shall

Did you get an ADP Deco Boy ?

why do you want a DSMB that shape? unless it's enormous it would sit lower in the water, and be much less visible, than a standard cylindrical one.

you just had to go and buy something didn't you, and of course it couldn't just be a simple purchase you had to go and complicate it. Typical woman!

It remains upright even when at the surface, amongst other reasons, and I gather skippers prefer them

Each to their own though eh
