Perhaps you need to slightly lower the pressure in your mask a fraction - just enough to give it a bit more 'stickability'. Anyway, you're a girl and if Paul's mask fits better then I don't see you have a problem. I think all, maybe most, women are born expert wheedlers?

Sigh, I don't know. What I do know is that when I find a mask that doesn't leak, assuming there is such a mythical object, I shall wear it always.

Could it be the slap-strap that's causing the problem?

His is a Scubapro Frameless. I've got one of those in my collection already and, to be fair, it leaks slightly less than the other fifty but it's not perfect.

And just because it's the same as his, doesn't mean it won't leak on me. We aren't identical twins, you know!

Yes but Paul's got a normal face, so any mask will fit him. Perhaps it's the mouse chew design that suits your face.

I suppose. If the strap is not pulling at the intended angle then presumably the force on the mask skirt will be higher on one side of the mask? Whether there is enough possible variation in the positioning of the strap to cause such a leakage problem I don't know.

Sounds like you need to spend a few minutes at the end of a dive demonstrating to Paul the postitions etc that cause your mask to leak. Perhaps you go all wrinkly in the water, like if you've been in the bath for ages?
