Sounds like you need to spend a few minutes at the end of a dive demonstrating to Paul the postitions etc that cause your mask to leak. Perhaps you go all wrinkly in the water, like if you've been in the bath for ages?

I think I tend to pull the straps unevenly, so one side might well be slightly distorted.

Because it's got a slap-strap, I have to take it off to adjust it, and both sides don't always get pulled evenly. With a plastic one, you can count the little ridges to make sure it's equal.

Fwiw I have 6 masks and only two are dry(ish) but I like having a little water in my mask as I use it to clear the mask if it steams up. The 2 sort of dry masks were both bargain bucket buys at dive shows, missing straps etc and neither cost me more than a tenner. Trick to my mind is just test every mask on sale till you find one that doean't fall off. Good luck in your quest, if you see the holy grail on the way send it round to me

LOL, I shall see how I get on with the Big Eye and let you know. I don't mind a bit of water round my nose - as you say, it helps clear the mask. It's the full flood with fishies in it that's starting to wear thin.

Sussed it! Kirstie is a girl, correct? Well then, she is probably just crying into her mask worrying about the washing up and the shopping and the cleaning. Maybe broke a nail or Paul went to sleep early or ................?????
