Question Dsmbi & 50m kt reel
How are people mounting the dsmbi to the reel ? My dsmbi has a 0.2L crack bootle ! It's bigger than the reel ?

If you've got the ratchet reel like me. I use the velcro strap on the dsmbi to loop through the handle of the reel and hold it snug against the back of the reel. It then just clips onto your D-ring without any problems.

Hi Colin,

I've tried several ways but the easiest I've found is keep them seperate. Reel goes on 1 split ring at base of back plate on the left side, DSMBi on the other split ring on the right.

Clip them together and watch it go.

I've got a 40mtr CD reel, and I use a bungy loop around the DSMBi with a boltsnap on the end to clip it to the reel's boltsnap, with the line boltsnapped onto the handbag strap, then clip the reel onto myself to stow it.

oh, the bungy is fastened to the handbag strap as well, so nothing should get lost.

Put the blob in your pocket and clip the reel off. Otherwise you end up dmaging the blob on sharp stuff.

And get shot of the 0.2L cyl and swap it for the 0.1.
