I have an ikkle one here:


And one of those Greenriver ones in Melty Sheath mk2 on my ample waist. If you flip it round and hold the blade, the lobbies grab hold of the yellow handle and you can yank them out of their holes. Lobbies are very stupid.

I keep a small one on the handle on my pathfinder reel. Another on the waistband and shears in a pocket.

I have one of the green river knives, but was not sure how to mount it, so keep it next to the front door in case of problems with the locals. I like Mark's idea, though (the knife mount, I have no use for a plastic heron).
