I've just had a look at the Kent diving website and found this amusing:

I knew Birmingham was a bit complex and you can get a little lost if you're not entirely familiar with it but I'll definitely have to take one of these reels with me next time I go into the city centre

Actually, I could do with a reel like that for in the pool.

Every time I practice finning backwards, I run into people. A mirrored surface would be dead handy

i have the Coustom Divers ( 120M) reel, this is so far the best reel that i have had and i have had this one for 2 years and used it more then 200 times( i have had 3 other reels)
the reel in photo, i have had this one and the same thing also had the happen to me at 50M, the reel that i had was the same reel( but called a beever) with the Mc'mahon, this is a good reel and i also have had one of these reels, thay are on the large size + the one that i had broke at the handle, if you are going to used you reel for deco do not buy any reel that has not got a rachet on it. but at the end of the day its your money only you know how you will spend it
good luck in finding what you want

I agree about the DelaidAid SMB/Reel. The good thing is that once the DSMB is unfolded you can so easily control how much air you add and when to deploy. First, cock your wrist (Ohh err, matron) so that the slide locks the DSMB onto the Reel/inflator. Add air into the inflator until you want to release the DSMB. Uncock your wrist so that the air in the DSMB pulls the slide off the Reel/inflator, keeping your thumb on the ratchet lever so it is open. Off it goes. Works every time.

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a 70 metre coloured line for a Custom Divers reel? At the moment I have 40 metres of line on it.

I'd prefer a pink line but at the end of the day, I'm not fussed about the colour.

Thanks,

TB
