| We had a whole lot done here on YD some months ago. They are brilliant though mine is beginning to rust which doesn't supply me, never wash the thing.

| Go for the cheap ones off ebay, either way you will replace them every year, but they are fantastic at cutting monofilament line, far better than a knife. IMO ![]()

You can pick them cheaply in first aid websites for about £1.50 a pair (just check the p&p costs though) - they're usually called "Trauma Shears" (paramedics use them to cut through drysuits, bike leathers etc) However as mentioned earlier in the thread they do rust easily - maybe coat them in silicon grease to protect them? | Yup, just use em and throw them away when they rust. However, as conscientious and well trained divers you should also remember to carry a knife as Trauma Shears are not much good at opening scallops. Snash
