| Morning. After seeing someone using one of these (which they couldn't remember where they got it?):- eBay.ie: Magnetic disconnect clip for hoses, gauge or octo (item 260157522588 end time 16-Sep-07 19:29:18 BST) And thinking "thats a clever gadget!" then seeing that one on eBay and being outbid. I'm googled out and can't find one anywhere (well apart from one attached to £300 worth of gear someones selling on eBay) So your mission should you choose to accept it is to obtain the manufactors name or somewhere that sells them. Cheers. |

| Pretty sure I saw these at my LDS One word of warning ....................... I too, a couple of years ago, thought a magnetic curly lanyard was a 'neat' idea. And it was. One hell of a magnet, let go and whoosh, straight back into place. Don't expect your compass to work accurately anymore though ![]()

| Hydrodive in Reading sell them? They're about £20? The magnet is fantastic, really powerful and they're selling them basically as octopus holders. Want more details? If you want one, my ex is coming to Seaham this weekend and if you could get to him I'm sure he'd bring it up with him? You could call the shop, pay for it over the phone, I'll pick it up, give it to the ex if you can get to Seaham? Oh, btw, he's a friendly ex, there's no arguments between us at all, before you ask!

Glad you're sorted. And even if you don't like it for diving it's a fab replacement for "Worry Beads"!!! Once you start you can't stop playing with the darn thing!!!!
