| Nifty dsmb Check out the video attached to the website. Obviously not for launching off a deep wreck but quite a nifty and simple (simple is good) idea.

| Rather nifty little gadget, one draw back I can think of is if it is your only DSMB and if you are not experienced carrying out mid water deployment but you are actually a few metres deeper then the 'line' then you cannot deploy it unless you want a free ride to the surface. |

| It doesn't look that difficult to put together at home. I think I'll stick with a reel though. |

| Personally, I reckon it's ridiculous. I especially didn't like the fact that he had his thumb jammed into the boltsnap. Trying to wind in all that webbing would be a real shag. Then you've got to fold it all up neatly again afterwards so you could use it next time - fuck that! Get a spool, you know it makes sense |

| Here's a thought- clip the end off to a reel. Then while the webbing is doing its trick, you have enough time to sort out pressing the reel trigger.

| Nah, it's good. Just needs a minor modification or two. Ditch the webbing for some nylon string and wrap it round a spool. Hey-presto, it can now be used from slightly deeper and can be wound easily as you go. Seriously though, I think it's another solution to a non-existent problem. Perhaps if you fixed the webbing to a Delayed-Aid it would be wonderful. |
