| Some friends tried the same with a pneumatic chisel, apparently, there were so many bubbles they couldn't see what they were trying to cut. Probably a lot of giggles too. Good luck MM

| Depending on how thick and rusty the plate is (and how accurate you want to be), try an axe. The fire brigade ones are quite good, and they are pretty good at cutting rusty metal

| my Brother in law used to be a clearance diver in the navy, he reckons the best tool is some det cord, properly placed it cut's a lovely neat hole. ![]()
