| Why You Should Analyse Your Gas. I started this thread in the 'I learned about diving from that' sub forum and it is worth looking through as to why you should analyse your gas before every dive. 2 Examples of Why You Should Always Anaylse Your Gas Some of the examples in there are quite scary. I know what you are saying Rob, but I would rather check than assume.

Out of interest? is the 02 cell in the bit you stick on the tank? If so how do you regulate the flow to stop the presure of the gas giving a false reading? ATB Mark

| Should analyse your gas on liveaboards even when you've ordered air. Once in the Red Sea my O2 cylinder on the RB was filled with 90% Heliox. I've also stopped someone in the UK from using the 12l of 18/50 trimix I was decanting from as a single cylinder. (He was just about to attach his reg to it when I stopped him). Janos

If you check out their site as well, there's a £3 off voucher when you first logon, bringing the delivery down to £2.99 instead of £5.99. My £££ situation is low for a month or so now so I may have to borrow on this occasion. Based on your thoughts - analysing is the way to go. Thanks for your input. Dan |
