Errr, if you did that, wouldn't you need more lead to sink?

Weight can be taken off the belt with gaining experience. When I first started diving, I struggled with a 10l. Now, am on a twinset (10's) and a 10l plus pony is easy to lift (and I have biceps now!)

If you can answer these - then we can start to help..

Have you done a buoyancy test. If not then I suggest that you do so and see if you can drop some weight off your belt.

err lead whats that?
no can't shead any lead as i don't have any
use oms wing and twin twelves 7 l +3 l ponies
4mm neoprene drysuit
still heavy with only suit and wing
if i take my fins off i,m just about neutral at 2m with 20bar
my twevles are heavy compared to fabers but don,t really want to shell out for new gear unless it more new gear like another pony
my wing easly copes as it got 95lb lift but i would like to be more neutral if i can

Do you dive in fresh or salt water, and what thermals are you using under your suit.

A ways to increase buoyancyL
wear thicker undergarments
buy lighter kit
don't use stupidly heavy gear
wear ali instead of stainless steel backplate

what do you use the 3 litre poony for?

superb. Don't change a thing. Put your fins back on and go diving. you are pretty close to perfectly weighted.

have fun

sound right to me I was not going to reply as you asked in the DIR forum, as you have a wing with 95ibs of lift use that to take some of the weight of gas of your body that is why they are called buoyancy compensaters

Graham

i only inflate my suit to relieve squeeze
use wing for buoyancy
