I have used the otter one,( similar to the o'three) and a home made one, and a Halcyon one.

i personaly realy like the new halcyon valve, dead easy to use, chunky screw mechanism for use in thick gloves or with cold hands on deco and secure on those dives that you arnt using it, having said that you do pay your money for it and I did use it because i was getting a leak from my old one.

i personaly think the catheter that comes with the Halcyon valve is a huge ego boost because there is no way you are fittin in it lol.

hope this helps

Deffo the Halcyon valve as mentioned above.

The new Custom Divers attachment at t'other end looks interesting too;

Mind you, wearing that I suspect Nicola would expect me to burst into singing 'Word Up' by Cameo every now and then

Definitely the halcyon.... mine's never played up and the construction gives you super confidence that it's not going to leak.

I have had two .... the niknaks style and the new halcyon style.

If I needed a third I would go for the Halcyon again.....not because they perform differently that I can notice, but that Halcyon one does not have the extra tube which I always caught when donning the suit.

It's only a minor thing though.

Agir --- It's an exact clone of the Halcyon one, and £50 cheaper!

I agree with Mal
I also have had both and prefer the Halcyon one, but they sure know how to charge for them

The tube on the Halcyon on is shorter that niknaks though, which is the down side. I like some slack in the tube so I have plenty of movement room (for my body) yet no strain on the sheath. More slack also make attaching it a little easier.

I haven't seen the Agir one, but it that is true, then I would probably buy that one instead. Does it has the little grub screw so you don't loose the derlin nut? That is really handy, I just keep hat nut open all the time, but the grub screw ensures it stays open, yet I can quickly close it in case I would need to as I won't loose the nut.
