New dive bag required...

As in the title really I am in need of a new dive bag for me holls. I have a budget of about £70-80 looking for something robust with or without wheels and a good capacity. Idealy I would like a couple of 70l The North Face duffels but they are out of my budget.

I have seen this... http://www.deepbluedive.com/product.aspx?id=10964

Anyone have this bag, more importantly has anyone managed to break it?

TIA

Andy

This looks pretty solid and a lot like the Polar Bear version advertised on Go Dives site(although their version is including delivery) but given the crap way they build links on the site it is not possible to post hyper links so go to the following link and click on bags on the left hand side and the Polar Bear Bag in question is the first one listed.
Divebags and Boxes from GO-DIVE
70 quid delivered for what looks like a quality product = no grumbles.
I am about to order it and take it via BA to Cyprus so fingers crossed and let's pray that I don't need to call on the legendary Go Dive Customer Service

It's way too big if you expect to fly with it.

I have the 130 litre North Face Rolling Thunder bag and even with lightweight but bulky skiing clothes, I've got a job to fill it more tha 2/3 full before it's too heavy for our delicate baggage handlers. You'll be better off with much smaller bags (around 80 litres is good)

Whats the deal with Checking in two smaller bags with your typical airline that services Egypt? any extra fees to be paid?

When I went in sept 07 I managed to keep my now retired duffel bag down to 27k but it still had to go through the 'heavy/over sized luggage'.

I had this same problem a few weeks ago. I was after a bag that I could use in the UK as well as taking abroad. After much thinking I decided to scrap this idea and for the UK go with a sturdy plastic crate on wheels from B&Q.

For taking abroad I got the same bag as NickB, but in the 80L version. It's a cool looking bag, built well, and doesn't have a dive brand advertised on the side. There is the argument that being a 'known' brand advertises that expensive stuff is inside, but if there are Mares, TUSA, (insert a dive brand here) bags going around as well, they are going to be first hit. Plus a number of other people on YD have these bags and haven't had any trouble.

Oh and considering I got it brand new for £69 probably helped in the decision making process
