Well this seems to be a weekly thread if not a daily one. I phoned John at KT this afternoon after advice about a reel that will multi task whislt encorporating a bit of future proofing. I was not buying the reel it was my birthday present from the long haired general. Instead of me passing all the details onto my other half who dives ocassionally and has no interest in this sort of thing, John noted down the details of what we discussed and took my name so that all the good lady had to do was phone up and tell John who she was and part with the cash. No chance for confusion. Johns customer service does not just end there he has asked that I email him when the reel arrives so that I can confirm that I am entirely happy. So I am now excitedly waiting for my shiny new 100m ratched reel with pink line and dsmb bracket. Thanks to John for caring and making life so easy Cheers Jonsey Last edited by ajones : 10-03-08 at 10:00 PM. Reason: Poor grammer

| He is without doubt a Gentleman of the highest order with customer satisfaction as his banner. Glad we've got him on YD.

Always top service .......... John has always been a top bloke / diver and a real gent and I find some of the 'previous threads' very insulting in a personal way, to say the least .......wouldn't buy reels anywhere else ! Unfortunate that every UK company isn't run to ensure customer satisfaction with a real personal touch !........ db

Great job John. We all know how well you look after existing customers (this includes just about everyone I dive with!), but great to hear more stories of really really good customer service going above and beyond with new customers as well. Great products, great service. And very very reasonably priced. Just in case anyone didn't know who we were talking about: Diving Products - Home Digs.

Well after the order for my reel was placed late Monday KT have effectively turned the order around in a day. At 0830 this moring, much to the disgust of swmbo who was planning a lie in on her day off, the postie chapped at the door and delivered the egarly awaited parcel. I think KT may well be doing themselves out of future trade as from what I can tell after a little play I may never need to replace it. Also included in the box was some spares, however I am sure they are just included to clutter up my spares kit So I am looking forward to giving the reel a trial run in crappers on Sunday ready to be used in anger on a trip to Oban over the easter weekend. Thanks again John. Jonsey
