For others reading this please note that melting lead and making your own weights is not something for the unitiated. Woz has of course done a full risk assessment and has adequate control measures in place to ensure no harm to himself and others.

Or just get one of your trusty divemasters to melt down old blocks of lead in a roses tin on his mum's gas hob. Its amazing how easy it is to melt according to Luke, then using your mum's oven gloves pick it up place it on the kitchen counter, open the back door then run outside, dripping molten lead on the floor....

Or just buy one. But with lead costing £7+ per kilo, the roses tin method might just suit your needs.
