co2 cartridge.

Hi,

If anyone has or is thinking of getting a dsmb with the co2 cartridge, something for them to consider.

I used mine for the first time yesterday in sunny Capernwray (5 degree temperature).

Upon firing the cartridge my gloves promptly froze onto it. It took me a lot of wrenching to get the thing off. Had it been summer, when I dive sans gloves, it would have taken the skin off my fingers.

Am going to remedy it by using one of my old neoprene glove fingers to act as a cover for the cartridge.

Do like the system for inflating dsmb though.

Cheers

Lyv

Could have been very troublesome, I was quite surprised to see the spool dissapear off upwards, then come tumbling back down. At least it eventually lead to a nice slow ascent as you collected all that green string. I think you did very well to not be dragged up with it.
