***UPDATE***

I have reluctantly had to sent the second set back to UE as SDS refused to fill them even if I did manage to get hold of the correct labeling (they wanted to O2 clean them). A touch unreasonable I thought considering the cylinders were stamped up as manufactured 01/2008 and I had the invoice in my hand.

I have had to source another set from Dive Life in Stockport that have VIP stickers that SDS will recognise.

So... A great big thank you to the staff at UE for their patience and for all the running around they have done.

And... Just to balance the books my first (and hopefully last) thumbs down for SDS.

Andy

They are so close to me I would really be biting my nose off to spite my face by going elsewhere, as I said I have not had any other trouble with them.

I still think this is a case of the equipment not being bought there! They either wanted me to send them back and get another set of Fabers from them or let them (pointlessly) O2 clean them.
When you get service like this it begs the question why support them at all?

OK, they are local to you but surely there are other places to get fills from and if a LDC had treated me like this I would be finding all sorts of reasons not to shop there.

Lol, thanks Phil

It's my own fault for calling the internet side of the business Ocean Explorers... but yes OceanX is really the DIR/internet side of Aquanauts an d nothing to do with UE. Glad our stickers come up to scratch

Believe it or not they are the only place reasonably local that I can get nitrox. I haven't fallen out with them over this largely due to the patience of Nina at UE (and others who helped off open forum, thanks ).

Don't get me wrong SDS on the whole are fantastic and will often match if not beat fantastic deals from elsewhere, the staff are friendly and helpful.
