Actually I tend to cruise in crotchless waders these days

Safe diving,
Steve

What is wrong with normal webbing and a QR buckle? I saw you were looking at some other Bowstone belts on another thread, what came of them?

What about a pouch weight belt? more comfortable (use shot bags) and with the QR buckle is pretty standard. This is what I have -

Scubapro Padded Pocket Weight Belt in Weight Systems,Weight Belts from Simply Scuba
I'm looking at a low bulk option of carrying extra weight - I will only need to put 6kgs on my belt maximum and the Rubber Belt doesnt tend to slip about as much as a webbing one. (I have a freediver/spearfishing mate who swears by his).

The buckle is fine less chance of a dropped weightbelt with it and pretty standard to undo.

Anyone use one in conjunction with a Frog/Eclipse?

The best weight belt I ever had. Never slipped or slid around.

I love mine too. Don't use it for uk diving but is great with a wetsuit. Have sucessfully twisted mine for the end weight but most of the time use clips to hold the weights in place. Actually 'cause they are rubber they grip onto the weights anyway. Sometimes it is a hard job persuading the weights to come off. Got mine from Apnea.co.uk.

Cheers

Just checked that site out thanks.

Why don't you use the belt in the UK?
