P Weight - Made my own -

Hi all... thanks to everyone who posted on my last thread about thre p weight supply issue.... as suggest i made my own and its well easy....

I made a mould out of wood and tin foil... melted added in a strip of ally and sorted 3 1/2kg p weight....

I assume this weight is to bolt onto the twin set mounting studs and is designed to be furthest away from ones back (as opposed to V weights between back and cylinders)?

Apart from potential trim ramifications why use one style i/o the other?

nope. nearest to your back - sitting in the grove in the back plate.

you can use it in addition to the v-weights for additional weighting.



btw - Thermocad - smart weight.. well done

Band on... ive got 4kg v weight and 3.5kg p weight just right for fresh water. the weight belt can go in the bin now....

Ah, that makes more sense but why isn't it called a V weight as well? The notch in my SSBP is V shaped?

If this turns out to be another dumb question then I will delete post and you'll look like you are talking to yourself!

I read somewhere that Polish divers were first seen using it - so the P is for Polish.

Or maybe taking the P weight
