the ap valve's low pressure hose can be taylor made to you required length by you they are very easy to adjust as they just screw on to the pipe check there site out for buying pipe and fitting's and make you own to the correct length not a premade comprermise that is nearly perfect go for spot on perfect length d i y easy

Hi just thought i'd add my thoughts on this, I dived with twin 10s inverted for a few years and eventually went back to having them upright, a few things made me do this.
  • It was a pain storing the cyls on a boat to give access for filling.
  • Getting the balance right was a nightmare they tend to pull you back in the water as a lot of the weight is low down i.e the manifold and valves, I ended up putting weights in the boots.
  • You will need a very sturdy valve protector / stand, I have heard that the OMS ones aren't up to the job of holding cyls.
  • And of course the problem that you are facing at the moment which is hose length.
Anyway just a few thoughts of mine, let us all know how it goes.

This is a very good point, I had to get a valve protector custom made which attached onto the cylinders via the bolts because the CD one was useless which promptly got flung to the far reaches of the shed.

Yep thats what I did too problem I had with that is that if the cyls were put down a little bit rough then the bands were pushed up the cyls, or is it down? :-S
