I Hate Kent Tooling

I do not know what it is, but you get used to the way everyone else does business and it is like slipping into your easy chair in front of your 42" plasma and all is stable with the world. You know your place and you know theirs.

Then along comes John to ruin it all:

Firstly, he manufactures a top quality product that you are completely unable to resist (even your NDSWMBO likes the stuff!!)

Secondly, he goes out of his way to make sure you get the item as quickly as possible with as little fuss as can be achieved, packed as carefully as bone china.

Thirdly, he almost apologises for charging you for the item and details the exact costing mechanism. You actually just want to leave your card with him, ready for the next bit of shiny kit!!

Fourthly, the item arrives with absolutely no defects whatsoever and a small pack of spares that you will never need (but it is good to know they are there).

Fifthly, when your buddy decides to change his mind about the order and would like the additional bracket, he sends it on without delay complete with a drawing and full instructions on how to fit it (and another pack of spare parts).

I mean with service like that how are we ever going to get used to the other shysters again??

Thanks John for top service once more.
Regards,
Midnight

He also does a nice shiny range of spools... Ideal back ups (providing you practice with them )

I was buying an SMB off him for a Scapa trip last year and whereas he could have posted it to my home address, he brought it to Scapa on HIS trip and left it on the boat I had booked on. No postage charges!
Don't you just hate nice people?

Narrow reel

Mmmm, I'm thinking about treating myself to one of his nice shiny narrow reels.

Anyone got one of these? Are they as fabulous as they look?

I used my narrow reel for the first time yesterday. Really good. Very solid product.

You can get a new axel and spool for it should you chose to dive deeper in the future.

Make sure you get an identifying mark on it. It got lots of jealous glances on the rhib!
