Dive bags

My old dive bag is in the bin. It was a large ND one with a holdall stuck on the side & a crappy reg bag on the top. It died of old age and abuse, so now I need a new on. Any reccomendations?

Cheers

Chris

get a box

Suggest buying a plastic box or crate - cheaper, stronger.

Box - let's you soak kit in but means you later need to dry
Crate - water drains away so wet kit can just be dumped in it for later sorting

My best dive bag ever came from SDS years ago - made of the same fabric as truck sides. Bombproof and cheap.

Montrose Rope and Sail Kit Bags Offshore Holdall Tarpaulin make a bag out of similar stuff. Quiite a few of the guys working on oil rigs use them and they definetely look bombproof.

Lidl have been selling them at £20.

Took one to france and it survived, use a box at home though.
