Extra strong line for reels

I have been searching round for some extra strong reel line - most lines seem to be 2mm with a breaking strain of around 100kg (before knots) I have found an ebay shop that sells 2mm & 3mm dyneema line with a breaking strain of 380k & 900 kg respectively.

Have a look at the below if you are interested,

DYNEEMA ROPE 2 MM - 100 METERS-RED on eBay, also, Rope, Sailing, Sporting Goods (end time 29-May-08 06:32:57 BST)

DYNEEMA ROPE 3 MM - 100 METERS-YELLOW on eBay, also, Rope, Sailing, Sporting Goods (end time 02-Jun-08 12:37:50 BST)

I dont know this seller but I will be ordering some of the 3mm line (they will do 50m lengths),

Mike

Have you had a problem with 100Kg breaking strain not being enough?

I was just about to ask that. Why would you possibly need more strength than that.

Just thinking perhaps you could

1. abseil down the side of the wreck?
2. send the blob up and connect the reel to spidge to bring up later
3. wreck penetration?
or my favourite tie Steve up and ensure he cant escape
