Avanti X3's - Any Good?

Hi Guys,

Due to a mix up my Cressi Frog Fins are stuck in the back of my mates car in Newcastle and I'm going on a week long diving project with the Hampshire and Wight Maritime Archaeology Trust on Sunday - so I'm no longer in the Toon. This has left me a bit shafted in the propulsion department as I doubt breast stroke will do me much good - best quote I've had from the LDS for fins is £42 for Avanti X3's so should I go with them or should I be looking for another budget fin?

Cheers,

Mike

My wife loves hers, and she can get a fair old turn of speed using them.

They are the only fins I've ever used, bought them 6 years ago, and still like them,

Yeah I agree, could get cheaper fins in Newcastle, I tried a dive shop in Stoke which is where I am atm and one in Southsea which is where I'm heading for the week and the one in Stoke was the cheapest by far and I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place cause I need fins fast and I have very large feet.
