New mask - larger model?
For years i've been annoyed by a bit of mild pain at the base of my nose caused by my mask when diving. So it's time for a new one. I know that i'll need to try one on before buying but does anyone know of any models that might not cause this problem?

I've got the Mares Liquidskin. The skirt is so soft you don't know you're wearing it. There's nowt quite like it. A lot of money at £50 but worth it, imho!

I suffered piggy-nose for years, but I don't seem to be having a problem in the Beaver Atomic I bought off Nackers for under twenty quid.

Try pulling the mask down towards your mouth a bit. It's a common problem to see people with their mask too high on their face pushing at exactly that bit you describe on your nose.

Tried pulling it down - no effect as it is a fairly small mask. To be honest, i'm actually pleased that it has given me the opportunity to waste time looking at new kit and blowing more money...

I used to constantly adjust my masks. Apart from the mask itself giving me piggy-nose, the air trapped in my hood (even with a hole punced in it) would lift my mask up. I have a much more comfy dive with my atomic.
