I've got the Scubapro K grip gloves, They keep my hands nice and toastie as they have a 2 part wrist seal so you layer them with your drysuit and it keeps pretty much all the water out.

If you have trouble putting your gloves on... then dunk them in the water and scoop them up full to the brim... then stick your hand straight in..... dead easy.... I thought everyone knew that.

I didnt know that either. I do now though

It's a bit like the swimming hat trick. If any of you have kids in swimming lessons try filling a hat with water inside out and dropping it from about a metre about child's head and it goes straight on - no hair pulling involved. It may end up covering eyes but hey!

NB Advisable only for very water confident children.

Thanks to everyone for all the advice, much appreciated! Nearly all my diving is in the summer, so I'll order the 3mm Everflex ones and give them a whirl.
