| Hi Nick, Get the petrol and then buy an electric for it (if you can't get it with both) - I think the electric motor is only a couple of hundred quid or so. Then you have the best of both worlds. I have a Hamworthy (as have a few others) and correctly looked after I know they can easily last 20+ years. You don't buy a compressor to save money, so be kind to the neighbours when at home and get the petrol for portability. By the way, the dolphin is closed and swimming well! Cheers, Marcus |

| Glad the Dolphin is being put to good use. Don't know if you can have both petrol and electric on a Bauer? Haven't heard of the Hamworthy. Nick.. |

| 3, 7, 12 and 15 litres. Just with air. Eventually if will be mainly 3's. |

| Can you double filter on these smaller compressors to make them suitable for Nitrox clean cylinders? |
| ||||
| The electric petrol combination on a BP3 (Hamworthy) require about twenty minutes to switch. They use a cartridge system for cleaning the air about 35 hours pumping per cartridge at a cost of £25. This is fine as it stands for clean cylinders. Andrew.

| Storage Can electric compressors be stored outside under a cover, or this a bad idea? |

I have a J that I use as an air bank and it lasts ages - means I can fill any time of day, and only fire-up the compressor every now and then (and run it for an hour or two in one go). Juz
