Wozplate on a Boris

Well I've just fitted a 5mm WozPlate onto a Boris and you know what? It looks like it grew there. Stuck a couple of WozKnobs on it too and it looks the part. The deep V and steeper bend angle of the Wozplate lets the handset and manual injector hoses past just nicely. I'm grinding a lovely big radius on the plate too so they won't chafe.

Well if you imagine the standard backplate removed and the Wozplate nailed on in its place then you won't go far wrong. Images of the plate on the website that shows the increased bend of the Wozplate quite clearly.

Not for me, I bought mine after she cleared off (best thing that ever happened to me!)

Wouldnt the increased V make the unit & hence back mounted counterlungs stand away from the body of the diver further hence increasing the WOB ?? a known intrinsic design fault /characteristic of back mounted CL rebreathers KISS/Ourobourus re over the shoulder designs Inspiration/ Meg ??

Have you ever dived an Ouroboros? I don't notice any increased WOB over the Inspiration unless I was to invert myself and that isn't a position I tend to dive in. This tired old WOB stuff tends to be spouted by people who've never dived the unit.
