| Milldog, for one, if you put the Inspo next to a Boris, you can see the build quality is far better. The Inspo has lots of flexible rubber hoses and plastic housings etc, whereas the Boris is all stainless steel microbore tubing with carbon fibre and delrin housings. The scrubbers are different styles as well. It's like comparing a Rolls Royce to a Noddy car! Caveat: I'm not as RB diver (yet) but i did have a good look at the Boris at the NEC last year. The inspo certainly has it's place in RB diving without doubt. I'm not pro or neg any unit in particular. To be honest, i don't like the thought of ECCR, so am looking at a KISS classic or rEvo for me. The copis meg is a nice unit, but the price tag is slightly higher than the KISS and rEvo. . . . Rich Stevenson recently did a RB aquaint sort of day where you could try a few different units. I couldn't make the last one, but will definately go along to the next if i get the chance. . .

Why? How many sub 100m dives do you have planned? Seriously why? Its big its heavy its got crap flood recovery and its unreliable (read it floods a lot). Thats without mentioning the price tag. Honestly I cant see what people like about the Boris apart from its inherent abuility to cope with masivly deep dives. If I were planing to do a lot of 120m+ diving I would consider a Boris but given its poor flood recovery id make damed sure I had a sh#t load of bailout. ATB Mark Chase
