Can you tell me why the revo pipped the sentinel as I like the look of it (the sentinel) and I'm at the stage where I am starting to look deeper into the pro's & con's of various units.
Cheers
Paul

I liked the dual scrubbers less chance of breakthrough/ channeling in my simple mind. Loved the low profile of the unit and the simpleness of it. I was drawn more to an MCCR personally. The revo just seems like a simple well engineered unit with no clutter this is all just my personal opinion. My thoughts on the sentinal where it has CE approval (not far off on the Revo as i understand it) made by a reputable company IN THE UK so support should be very good and it comes with a BOV. I basically downloaded the manuals for both and had a read spoke to various people with no bias on either unit (a very rare thing). Mark chase was very helpful give him a pm as was pieater who was the barsteward that made me buy one Also have a good read on RBW lots of good info just take some of the posts with a pinch of salt. Paul Raymakers (sp?) was also very helpful. I'm not going to say there aren't things i'd do slightly differently on the Revo, Bov for example but it was the ideal unit for me on paper what it's like when i get to dive it is another thing I hope i won't be one of these who says this unit is the best because i own one yes it's a big financial outlay but so are cars and i'm not afraid to point out various faults with the ones i've had. Give me a pm if you want to chat but be aware i know not alot only what i found from my own research and as with everything people read and understand things in different ways

Hadn't thought of it like that....Coarse it makes sense, thats were the money is..........

One more thing to consider is the adv on the sentinel.
It has the same one as the kiss...........not its best feature.

The sentinel also seems to create some funny affects on the diver... Turning them into what can only be described as Donnie Breast stroke.

I was also shocked and dismayed to learn that a MOD1 candidate can be passed with only 8 hrs completed instead of the prescribed 10
