Talking Wing inflator hose configurations.
Hi folks,

Well it's my turn now. I have a shiny new Boris sat on the floor at home and my course starts tomorrow! :-o

Now, bearing in mind that i've not done the course yet and (i hope) all will be much clearer in a few days time, i was curious as to people's opinions as to the best place to connect the LP wing inflation hose?

There seem to be a number of possibilities each with pros and cons from a redundancy and failure recovery standpoint. For example i've seen one configuration with a separate bottle for this purpose. Some seem to run it off the bailout side slung. Opinions?

I tried running it from the offboard but I felt it was messy, I then ran both suit & wing from a 1.5l cyl boltsnapped to the LH side of the backplate, much more comfortable. As for routing, I ran the inflator hose under my arm, it's a crap wing TBH and Kev wouldn't still be using it if he hadn't ordered so many up front I'm sure.

Seems to be one of the most popular configurations. Used the bailout reg for the course and it worked ok but as you say a bit messy. Oh well something else to buy!
