| I'll have to get the pics from home (grrr why do I forget to look at the site!!!). Yup you definately need training. Although if you turn on the cypres you could just jump and scream, although opening height on the cypres is something like 750ft (and I can tell you that is **** low. !) Normal pull height is 3500ft for student, 2500ft qualified. The Raider 210 is 9 Cell, and in the colours of the rainbow on each cell. (Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Black), its got a nice Skull and Crossbones on the throwaway pilot chute. Good Slow opener. Reserve is white. I qualified at jump 25 ish, then did another 45, over a period of 3 years. I'm undecided whether to go back or not. So am going to give diving a go for a few years. I am willing to trade for dive gear ! * 1st and 2nd stage (need 1st stage to fit drysuit as well) * 2 x 12l Cylinders * Computer (of some sort) Ill post some photos when i get home tonight. Dan |

| Naa, the reserver ride was down to me incorrectly looping the throw away pilot webbing through the final closing sleeve on the parachute. ...For the non jumpers amonst us.. the parachute goes into a bag, which then drops into the container which then has 3 flaps of the container which a line feeds through, my pilot chute was looped around one of thses flaps.... Therefore at 2,500ft (after a really pumping skydive) I threw my pilot chute out, counted to five, looked up and no chute... BROWN TROUSERS ! Did my reserve drills, paniced, did them again, and again.. this time slowing and finally had the reserver out at 1100ft - Therefore good learn... Did another 10 jumps or thereabouts and thought I'd better do something slightly less dangerous under the water instead. Dan |

Go to bedford and play indoors - Not quite as much fun as the open air, but still a good laugh |
