| YD4k Kent tooling DSMB reels OK, so we've all got shiny new DSMBis to play with, so what we all need is a nice shiny indestructable stainless steel reel from that nice man at Kent Tooling to go with it. This is the call for expresions of intrest, if we get anough, John will discuss a price for us, but until I've got an idea of how many, John will only say we can talk (which is fair enough) For those that don't know what they look like, here's a link http://www.divingproducts.co.uk/reels/index.htm# So let me know, and I can then move it along. Cheers,

To give you an idea though, a 50m wreck reel and a 40m safety reel are both in the order of £60 (from last months DIve Mag and also Diver mag tests)

| I have to say that I have always had great service from John but I wouldn't want to get into "fleecing" a mate and member of the YD family. John's prices are already competitive I hope he wouldn't be pressured into coming up with something he isn't comfortable with. |

| Likewise, I wouldn't want to force him into a deal he wouldn't want to make, but if we can throw a big order his way, surely that's a good thing? I'd be potentially interested in a nice shiny reel to go with my DSMBi... |

| I would say that there is no question whatsoever of pressurising, just the same as Phill Nackers doing a deal for us on the Salvos last year. I'm sure John will only give a price on his products that he is happy with. Oh, and a big 'up' to Beardy taking this one on, I know what it's like doing it!

| I do like the idea of a nice serious bit of reel kit. I'm in for a reel for use with DSMB. 50m line would be fine. As long as its shiny! Chris |

| Bump Well I mean, fancy posting this when everyone is at Stoney!
