Nokia 6630 smartphone (3 network)
Just bought this off eBay. The bloody thing is locked to 3 and you can't unlock a 6630 despite the claims from various websites.

Poo.

So- anyone want it for the same as I paid for it? £64 delivered. Comes with all the usual standard kak plus an extra CD wink wink if you know what I mean. Tom would be furious. As would Tom.

Yep it was locked to 3 but lots of people said "ooo you can unlock them" but they were all lying toerags especially Gloc who when I see him I'm going to put a bat up his nightie.

Have just had a good look at the phone and the thingy that holds the SIM card in is busted (still holds a SIM card fine, though) so the seller is going to get an earful and a request for a refund as he did not mention that in the auction.

Still- if nothing else I can always lob it back on eBay with the auction ending on a Sunday evening. There is always some muppet who is prepared to give over the odds for something like that. Especially when Woz the Spin Doctor has finished putting it through the Bullshit Mangle.

Mind you I broke Woz eBay Rule No 1:
Never buy anything. Only sell.

*sigh* someone red blob me. I deserve it.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Why? Because I was under the impression it could be.

Well according to every website and 3G forum I've looked at the newer BB5 phones are not unlockable yet as they use different software to the DT4 phones. There are a few sites offering it but none of the unlock codes work. Even 3 can't unlock them- they are currently in negotiation with Nokia to sort this out.

unlockster.com- that site you pointed at- use this bit of sofware: www.nokiafree.org which although it lists the 6630 in the software, it does not work. See here for more details: http://nokiafree.org/forums/showthre...ewpost&t=78808

If, however, you can point me in the direction of someone who can, I'll put a bat up my own nightie.
