WANTED 5Kg Backplate

Anyone got one kicking around that they no longer use and might consider selling/swapping. I have an OMS standard backplate with about 50 dives on it but I need something heavier now. Mine as new from Divers warehouse - not bothered about condition of the heavier plate but I'd prefer a recognised brand

Steve,

have you considered just adding a couple of v-weight chunks or a P-weight to get the additional weight you need? Then you could keep the existing setup.

I have, and if needs be that's what I'll do - just fancied the 5kg backplate from a neatness point of view

ah.. ok. The P-weights are quite a neat solution and allow more flexibility.

No probs though..

Expect to pay through the nose for a 6mm backplate. The last second hand one I stumbled across was £80. It's a shame Aleutian aren't still trading - they used to make a gorgeous 6mm plate which was also very good value for money...
