She was old and she died

Hi all

I'm looking for help.

An old lady who is a neighbour of GF has recently died. She didn't have anyone in the way of family and most of her friends had unfortunately passed away. She did leave one friend though, Bob the Cat.

Bob the Cat is a very lovable and friendly cat. He is affectionate and has a very good nature. He is very healthy and has been nutured and is up to date with all his injections etc and is microchipped.

He is house trained and is black in colour (I'll post pictures later) and is 6 years old.

If you are looking for a cat as a pet you couldn't find a better cat than Bob. I would hate to think that he would be put to sleep through no fault of his own. He has already lost his best friend and needs someone to love him.

If you know of a good home then please get in touch, he isn't used to traffic but he's fine being left alone.

Before anyone askes why don't I take him in, I'm allergic to cats and I already have two dogs.

Please help Bob!

If you don't find a home for Bob, get in touch with the Cats Protection League, I am sure they will be able to help.

BSAC obviously...British Sub Aqua Cat

As Fiona says, Cats Protection League, or any of the smaller, local charities will be able to help find a home.

We already have 5 from rescue centres that are eating us out of house and home

Yeah I've already tried them but they really don't seem to interested whilst it's being looked after. There is a local charity but it doesn't have a good reputation.

I would prefer that I knew where he was going and that it was a good home.

Simon, I can't offer a home as I have a little old dog, and I don't know of anyone else who would take the cat, but I do hope you find a good home for him. Have you thought of contacting your local paper?

Is there a local chinese or indian restaurant nearby. I'm sure they'll take bob off your hands....in fact they may even pay you for him

My local vet has a notice board for "free to good home" animals. You could try your nearest vet. Good luck with finding Bob a happy home .

Just tell them then there is no one to look after him. They shouldn't turn a cat down.
