what type of dry suit is it going under? neoprene, go to a ski clearance place or decathlon and get some ski underwear, I got some thermal base layers for under my thinsulate ( I dive a membrane suit) for less than £20 for a full set and they were for a fat barsteward size too. 2 layers of these shoul be OK in most UK waters under a neoprene. I tried just the ski stuff last may and june at capernwray when the water temp was 10 to 12 degrees at its coldest and was fine for nearly an hour. be warned that I do have a good layer of bioprene which may assist in keeping me warm and that whats good for me may not be good for you.

I wanted to see if two or more layers worked, it did for me but I did get cold at the end of the dive. I originally got em for a base layer under my thinsulate which I need for under my membrane suit.

| Nope............ I dived in Ron Hill tracky bottoms and a fleecy sweatshirt under my drysuit(Neoprene) for years with no problems. Mind you if they had been labeled "Fourth Element" they would have cost about £160 If using a membrane just layer up like you would to go out on a cold days walking. |

I would have thought you would have covered this in the drysuit course, if you have taken one.
