WTD: cuff dump thingy

Hiya,
this is a bit random but Typhoon somehow managed to mess up my cuff dump whilst it was in for getting boots changed and after various faffing and some worrying underwater happenings i've worked out it is just the little rubber disk inside the dump which is the problem (swapped it with a mates and suddenly started working fine ) so was just wondering whether a good samaritan had one from a cuff dump they don't use anymore (ie if got a shoulder dump replacement etc) which they wouldn't mind donating :P in exchange for undying gratitude and an I.O.U for pintage if you ever run across me or money if i've got it wrong and they're not as cheap as i thought

Dave

I'd just ring Apeks, they will probably send the part out for nowt, or a small charge. To be honest I have a couple of cuff dumps in the spares kit, but they're there for a reason. Because they don't seat properly.

The disk often gets dirty and grit and hairs can get in there, so might be worth trying to reseat yours after a good clean. If it's less than a few years old then it's most likely not the disk itself which is knackered, just that it's not seated properly.

Digs.
