OMS Slipstream Fins & OMS Spring Heel Straps for sale

Hello,

I thought it more pertinent to place a DIR specific dive product within the DIR forum...please move if you don't feel it appropriate here.

Having just bought The Negligent Snail's metal sub torch, and with a holiday looming my girlfriend demands that I sell at least one of my 4 sets of fins...how un-reasonable of her!

I've got a pair of brand new OMS Slip Stream fins, Size XL & OMS Spring Heel Straps, Size L. Fins would ideally suit a dry suit boot UK 7-9, any larger and the pockets come up too small. Trust me I know, I've now got XXLs for my UK10 size feet! These are exactly the same in every detail to the Scubapro Jet Fins....except for the logo!

I'm looking for £100 ONO. Those interested should PM me. I can send using Fedex after receiving payment.

BTW the item is listed on ebay 320250792678 - Should I get a firm offer I'll pull the listing.

Thanks...

Chris

Er..... you do know that you can buy *BRAND NEW* Scubapro Jet fins with aftermarket spring straps for less than you're asking for these? DIRDirect, for example, sell Jetfins for £69 and spring straps can be picked up for £30 these days so you might want to rethink your price a little...

BTW - Don't be surprised if a Moderator moves this to the 'Kit for Sale' section 'cause that's where it really should be

Except they're not. They are half the weight of Jetfins and a stiffer compound. The foot pocket is slightly better apparently - an XL equates to a Scubapro XL but the OMS XXL is halfway between a Scubapro XL and their giiiinormous XXL.

Hope that helps prospective buyers.

Fancy a go in a pair myself to compare with Jets as these could be a nice travel fin because of the weight.

Good luck with the sale

Graham

Wotcha Maverick, I've moved it to here as it will probably be seen by more potential buyers.

Good luck with the sale.

Safe diving,
Steve

Ref price query...OMS Thrust fins are around £110.00 delivered with Spring Heel Straps...I know because I bought a second pair in XXL from Diver's Warehouse, to replace the set I'm selling which didn't fit. The set I'm selling were imported from US Leisure Pro, in New Jersey by my girlfriend for a Christmas present. They cost 117.00 including carriage & duty. I'm looking to recoup as much back as possible, and as they are brand new, never been dived I think they should sell for a resonable ammount, especially to those that appreciate a good quality fin and resognise the improvements over the Jet Fin

Thanks

Chris
