Mind you, if I hadn't spent close on £500 on 3 tickets, I'd be able to afford to buy this. |

All she has to do is turn up a day or so early and help get the area ready for the festival. Putting up barriers and patrolling the streets checking everything is fine. It's a day and a halfs work but then she can enjoy the festival for free and gets to leave when everyone else does. I'd never heard of this arrangement till she mentioned it last night but it's one to bear in mind next time you need a Trimix analyser Nick Cheers Paul |

Pissed down on Thursday night (the boy and I were safely tucked-up in the tent at this stage) which made for a very muddy Friday, but the sun dried most of that up and Saturday and Sunday were fine. In fact, I had to make use of the factor 15. Got totally plastered yesterday on cheap Shiraz whilst chilling out to Neal Diamond & Goldfrapp followed by the wonderful Leonard Cohen who had the audience eating out of the palm of his hand; he was captivating - not bad for a 73 year old! Highlights for me were Seasick Steve, Crowded House, Duffy (that girl can sing) and Elbow, who were stunning. Disapponted to miss Cerys Matthews, the Shadow Puppets & Solomon Burke, amongst others, due to clashes but there's always next year. I think my lad is hooked; he wants to do Reading now [EDIT]Sold Out - shit[/EDIT]. Last edited by nickb : 30-06-08 at 06:45 PM. |
