wanted nitrox reg & 7l ally for stage

Hi,
I want a reg suitable for rich mixes of Nitrox so it should be a "proper" Nitrox reg (or a normal one serviced for O2 I guess), with SPG on short hose if possible.*
Also a 7l aluminium stage cylinder (have 7l steel for sale!).
*Was considering Apeks or Oceanic, but have an open mind!

I realise I'm unlikely to be able to get these 2nd hand, but thought it was worth a try!
Live in Hemel Hempstead (J8 M1, J21 M25) or could meet at Wraysbury, Stoney, Gildy etc.

Just put some apeks stage regs on ebay - Apeks DST, TX40 Nitrox 1st - 300 bar SPG on eBay, also, Regulators, SCUBA Snorkelling, Sporting Goods (end time 13-Jul-08 21:24:56 BST) Excellent condition but not used for some time so recommend service before use. Sorry didnt see your message before I listed them.

you can get a new 7l with Apeks ATX40&DS4 1st stage for a little over £200. (from the Derby Dive Store)
At least you'll not have to worry about servicing the bottle for 15 months (the new 02 service length) and you will know where the regs have been before you got hold of them. (which is always nice when it comes to life support equipment)

Hi Paul. thanks for your reply, if you mean Go -Dive in Derby, I can find a package with 7l ally + Oceanic alpha nitrox reg - but it actually works out more expensive than buying the reg & cyl separately which is a bit silly !- I'll ring them tomorrow....
Doi you have a link for the Apeks/cyl package please? (I'd prefer to get Apeks as I already have those on my twins & would be easier with new mouthpieces etc.)
BTW, I'd be getting any 2nd hand reg serviced before use! I agree with your point about life support!

they were doing the 1st&2nd stage for £99 last week but it looks like they've upped the price.
They are still doing brand new 7l Ali's for £133 delivered.
It's worth checking their site regularly as you can get some great deals if you're quick.
