| Here are the Northlink Scrabster to Stromness (and back) ferry times. I am thinking of going for the Sat 13.15 on the way out and maybe the 11.00 on the way back. The cost is £73.10 each way for a car and two people. Pentland Firth timetable from Friday 4th February 2005: Scrabster / Stromness Departs *Sat Sun Stromness 0630 Scrabster 0845 Stromness 1100 0900 Scrabster 1315 1200 Stromness 1645 1645 Scrabster 1900 1900 Crossing time: 90 minutes * Peak season schedule Saturday 11 June - Saturday 20 August inclusive C |

| Beanie, If we don't take the car, is there a car park in Scrabster? Also, what is the usual procedure for shifting all that kit on and off the ferry? Is it a case of using luggage trolleys? Sorry for the daft/obvious questions but its my first Scapa trip :-) C |
