Update

As you may have noticed that Steve S is not going to be able to make Gig 1.
Just to reiterate Steve's absence on the Scapa trip will be sorely missed. The most important thing is Steve's health and he is set to make a full recovery. I am sure I speak for everyone when I wish Steve all the best and hope to see him again in the water soon.

I have been in contact with a couple of divers who I know personally who may be interested in filling the space. Should the space still not be filled I will post a relevant thread.

If the space is unable to be filled given the amount of short notice I would like to suggest the following:
The outstanding £7 owed to each diver on both trips for the trip balance could be donated to Steve so that he faces a minimal financial loss.
Obviously this is up to every individual him/herself and is not mandatory.

This post has been duplicated on trip 1.

Is there anyone on this trip who has a 'sub' lined up? I may be able to sort a place on this trip if required - a diver has offered to move to Gig1 and fill the spare place.

As I recall, Reeve may have had someone 'up his sleeve' !!
