Make sure you have a good torch. Yesterday off Littlehampton it was pitch black below 15m, and we had something like 1-2m vis. Temp was 8c. Be prepared for a challenging experience.

1-2m - you obviously follow the Andy Nye school of viz measurement!! - 0.5-1m I'd have given it yesterday. I couldn't even see the red glow from my DSMB until I was at 1m on the ascent!!!

A torch is a MUST in conditions like this, and ideally a backup torch too, as failure of your main could be a bit of a shocker if you're not used to or prepared for it.

However, south coast diving is great, all year round - I love it!! Os much in fact that I'm also out next weekend, but hopefully finding better viz all the way out on the Moldavia.

You don’t need to be good at swimming to save lives.

OBVIOUSLY YOUR STUPIDITY IS ONLY MATCHED BY YOUR INCOMPETENCE.
